Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

This policy explains what Interview Fury collects, why, and the control you have over it. We built the product so your interview data stays yours.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, and — if you sign in with Google — your Google profile basics.
  • Interview context you provide: the resume and job description you paste or upload to tailor answers.
  • Session data: live transcripts, screen captures you take, and the AI answers generated during a session.
  • Payment metadata: Razorpay order and payment IDs needed to confirm a purchase. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Basic technical logs: IP address, browser type, and timestamps used to keep the service secure and reliable.

How we use it

  • To generate answers tailored to your resume and the role during a live session.
  • To operate your account, process payments, and provide support.
  • To protect the service against abuse, fraud, and security threats.
  • We do not sell your data, and we never train AI models on your interviews.

Who we are

Interview Fury is operated by Vinay Kumar Vanapalli, a sole proprietor based in India. That means one person is responsible for this service and for the data you trust it with — there is no larger organisation behind it.

How long we keep it

We keep things for as long as they are useful to you, and no longer — except where the law requires otherwise. Nothing here expires on a hidden timer: you stay in control of when your interview data goes.

  • Interview transcripts and screen captures: kept until you delete the interview or your account. They are not deleted automatically, so they stay available for you to review or export.
  • Resumes, job descriptions and account details: kept until you delete them or close your account.
  • Payment records: kept for at least six years after the transaction, because Indian tax law requires us to retain them. These stay even if you delete your account, but they no longer identify you.
  • Usage totals (tokens and audio minutes per session): kept alongside the payment record for cost accounting. They contain no interview content.
  • Messages you send us: automatically deleted 2 years after you send them.
  • Technical logs: automatically deleted after 90 days. They record how long each answer was and how many tokens it used — never what was said.

Cookies and analytics

We ask before we set any analytics cookie, and the site works exactly the same if you say no.

  • Essential storage: keeps you signed in and remembers your choices. Always on — without it the app cannot work.
  • Analytics (Google Analytics and Meta Pixel): helps us see how people find and use Interview Fury. These load only after you accept, and not at all if you decline.
  • You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site — the choice is stored on your device, not on our servers.
  • Nothing about your interviews is ever sent to an analytics provider.

Deleting your data

You are in control of all of it, without having to ask us.

  • Delete a single interview from your dashboard — this permanently erases its transcript, the resume and job description attached to it, and the names you entered.
  • Delete your whole account from Account settings — this erases every interview, every saved resume, and everything that identifies you.
  • If you would rather we did it for you, email privacy@interviewfury.com and we will action it.

What deleting an interview removes — and what we keep

Deleting an interview is permanent and cannot be undone. We erase its transcript, the resume and job description you attached to it, any extra instructions you added, and the candidate and company names you entered. Screen captures taken during that session go with it.

  • What we keep: that a session existed, when it was created, started and ended, whether it was a trial, and the payment and AI-usage totals it generated.
  • Why we keep it: to meet tax and accounting obligations, to handle refunds and payment disputes, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
  • This retained record contains nothing about what was said in your interview — no questions, no answers, no resume, no job description.
  • Resumes you saved to your account library are separate from any one interview. Delete them from the setup screen whenever you like.

Sub-processors

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the service: AI model providers to generate answers (Anthropic, OpenAI and Google — which one answers depends on the model chosen for the session), Deepgram to turn speech into text, Razorpay to process payments, and cloud hosting to run the application. Each receives only the data needed for its function.

Who can see your interview

You should know exactly who can read what you say in an interview, so here it is in full.

  • Your coach. If you invite someone to your Coach Console, they see your live transcript, your AI answers, and the resume and job description attached to that session. That is the point of the console — only share the link with someone you want there.
  • If you reached us through a training institute, the trainer holding your session link is your coach, and sees everything listed above.
  • Us — but only for a specific reason: investigating a fault you have reported, resolving a payment dispute, or looking into suspected abuse of the service. We do not read interviews for any other purpose, we never use them for marketing, and we never train AI models on them.
  • Every time anyone on our side opens your transcript, your session setup, or watches a live session, it is recorded in an internal access log with who did it and when. You can ask us for that record at any time.
  • Our processing providers, listed under Sub-processors below, receive only what they need to do their part — for example the audio to be transcribed, or the text to generate an answer.

Security

Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). It is not separately encrypted at rest on our servers — we would rather tell you that plainly than imply protection we have not built. No system is perfectly secure, but protecting interview data is core to what we do.

Your rights

You can access, export, or delete your data at any time. For any privacy request or question, email us and we will respond promptly.

Grievance Officer

In line with the Information Technology Act, 2011 rules and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, here is the named person responsible for handling data complaints. Write to them directly if something about your data is wrong, or if a request of yours has not been actioned.

  • Name: Vinay Kumar Vanapalli
  • Email: privacy@interviewfury.com
  • We acknowledge every grievance within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days, as the DPDP Act requires. In practice, most data requests are handled the same day.
  • If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
